Hey everyone, I am Manu and I have been playing the X-Wing Miniatures Game since the beginning of 2015.
Although I had never played any other tabletop game before I was immediately intrigued by the detail of the little plastic spaceships. I’ve always been a big Star Wars fan with one of the most fascinating aspects being the whole background story George invented for us. Everything seemed to make “sense” in that Galaxy far far away… Keep in mind that I was a 12-year-old boy when I first saw the remastered special edition of Episode IV in 1997. Since then the word “sense” seems to have changed a lot for me 😉
But the creativity and endless imagination going into those stories have created a kind of magic that is still captivating viewers, readers, gamers and all sorts of other people around the globe including me. Star Wars never seems to go out of fashion and we will now have at least three different generations that will have grown up with each their own trilogy (Although I do feel for the I,II,II generation). This magic, a pre existing love for board games and a very good friend of mine brought me to the world of X-Wing Miniatures.
And then there was paint…
Very soon I discovered another, previously unknown, interest of mine… Flying individually painted spaceships! There is nothing quite as satisfying as showing up to a Tournament and seeing participants taking pictures of your ships and complementing your work. Like probably most of you out there I started with small changes, not wanting to ruin the beautiful model, and slowly but steadily progressed from there. And although I might still be considered a Padawan learner I have gathered a lot of knowledge on my path and decided to share and pass on what I have learned with likeminded colouring fanatics 😉

Thanks for dropping by and may the paint be with you 😉
